GUARANTEE
Your watch is covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase against all manufacturing defects, provided you purchased the watch from an authorized M+WATCH retailer. Damage caused by normal or extreme use of the watch is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Elements excluded from the warranty include the battery, watch crystal, strap, winding stem and crown, as well as damage caused by normal, extreme or improper use.
Please refer to the warranty card and booklet you received from the retailer. Please enclose the warranty card, which is only valid if the store, purchase date and a retailer stamp are legible, when sending the watch to an official service center. If the watch was not purchased from an authorized M+WATCHe retailer, the repair will fall into the "gray market" category. This means that the warranty is invalid and you will be charged for repair costs even if they are actually covered by the warranty.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
A battery can last between two and ten years, depending on the type of watch, the battery's performance, the size and weight of the hands, and the energy required for the movement's various functions. For example, a chronograph consumes more energy than a watch that only shows hours and minutes. Some M+Watch watches give a signal when the battery is almost exhausted: as soon as the second hand jumps every 4 seconds, it is time to have the battery replaced by an M+WATCH-certified watchmaker. Even when this stage is reached, the watch will still work for one to three weeks before it stops completely. Please note that the battery is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
M+WATCH watches are manufactured and tested to a water resistance of 30 meters, as indicated on the case back. The water resistance of a watch does not take into account the watch's ability to remain waterproof as it ages. The water resistance of a watch cannot therefore be guaranteed permanently. It can be affected by ageing of the seals or by accidental impacts on the crown or pusher. Never open the watch yourself.
Make sure that the crown and/or time setting buttons are not operated when the watch is underwater and that the crown is pushed in.
Quartz movement:
The typical rate deviation of a quartz movement is between -0.5 and +0.7 seconds per day. External influences such as shocks or sudden changes in temperature can affect the accuracy of a quartz movement.
Mechanical movement:
The accuracy of the watch depends on the movement and the habits of the wearer and can therefore vary greatly. The average deviation is between -10 and +40 seconds per day.
The materials we use at M+WATCH are carefully tested to avoid allergic reactions. For customers who react to stainless steel, we recommend titanium watches.
Depending on use and wear, leather straps usually last between 6 and 18 months. Hygiene is also important to consider, as the leather strap is exposed to your sweat, bacteria and dirt every day. We therefore recommend replacing the leather strap at least every 18 months.
Your watch has been carefully inspected during manufacturing in our state-of-the-art clean room environment (a room with controlled humidity, temperature and dust) and leaves our Swiss factory in excellent working condition. To keep it in top condition, we recommend the following care and maintenance guidelines, as well as regular maintenance or service by one of our authorized M+WATCH International Service Organization (MISO) service centers, which you can find on our website at https://m-watch.com/en/pages/garantie-und-reparatur-1.
CLEANING
Please rinse your watch regularly with clean, fresh water to remove any deposits or other materials that may build up on the watch during use. This is especially important after any contact with salt water.
GLASS
M+WATCH watches are made with heat-hardened mineral or sapphire crystals, depending on the model. Sapphire crystals are extremely scratch-resistant. A chipped, broken or loose crystal should be replaced immediately, as this can lead to water resistance problems or fogging.
